The last couple of days I have been too busy to write. Today, I am taking a few moments to do so.
I will say that I have been missing Jennifer terribly, these past few days, however I will say that I have been feeling her with me spiritually. There have been several times that something has gone right and I know it is because she is looking out for me. There has been a lot of “Thank you Jennifer’s” uttered by me the last couple of days and I can hear her response of “You Betcha” in my head.
We have made progress on some of the auction stuff, but have also had a few temporary road blocks to deal with, but we are getting thru them. Thankfully, largely to the efforts of Cindy, Chad and the boys.
The boys and I have gotten all but one piece of equipment out of the machine shed and we will get that one today. It should (fingers crossed) be the easiest of the bunch it is a side delivery rake. So just have to hook onto it and pull it out and then find a spot for it in the field. The field is looking like a used farm equipment lot.
Thankfully we have had great weather to get some of this stuff done, but that is unfortunately coming to a end. We actually have a winter storm advisory starting on Monday. So the temps are going to be cooling off and we might actually get some snow.
My good friend Geoff Gallus shared some old photos from St Patrick’s day in 1988 with me yesterday. In those photos was one of Jennifer and I oustide the Vu Villa. There was also photos of a lot of other folks I had/have not seen in years. It was interesting seeing photos of all those young people who are now old folks.

Last night we had a wonderful dinner from Lydia’s Supper Club. We got it take out. It was a early Fathers Day dinner, and it was great. We have tons of left overs for this evening.
Well I better get a move on, we have another busy day planned. Hopefully Jennifer can again give us some spiritual help on a couple of the items.
