Cindy, Case, Dad and I worked on getting the flower baskets cleaned up and touched up with paint and new artificial flowers. I know this is weird, but as we were working on them I could feel and hear Jennifer there working with us. She did not feel she was very creative/talented with these types of things but she was wrong, she was pretty damn good at it.
Once we got everything ready, Cindy and Dad went into town with Dad’s car. Case and I had the baskets and new sheppards hook that Cindy made for Jennifer’s in my truck. We also swung by the Walter’s house to pick up the beautiful pink and salmon colored rose and shamrock basket that Pat and Kate put together for Jennifer’s grave. It is hanging from the Sheppards hook that Cindy built. It has a Celtic cross on it that will be visible when we have to take the flowers off.
I know she is smiling up in heaven and would be humbled and appreciative of everyone doing this for her. However it was tough putting these on her.
We swung thru Holy Cross and then St Pat’s and Mount Moriah cemetery’s and put out baskets and small bundles of flowers on family and old family friends.
We had a nice but breezy day to do this.
Then Case and I went and picked up a Silver Bow pizza for dinner. Then Cindy and Case headed back to East Helena. Case had a good day. He got some good driving in today. Cindy and Chad let the boys drive on the frontage road and since Heath was in Missoula he got to drive to and from today. Usually he has to split driving time with Heath.
