Jennifer did not like politics and she would only discuss politics with a very select few people. However at home, she would get all kinds of fired up about political issues. She damn near blew a gasket when Roe vs Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court. She would have made sailors blush with the cussing she was spouting when that announcement was made.
I was the one in our relationship that had/has a hair trigger temper. I can go from calm to pissed off in record time (as most of you reading this know). I am usually not shy about letting anyone know what I think.
Jennifer was very level headed and much more reserved. She talked me off the cliff many many times. However, when she got pissed you knew it and you better hold on to your ass. The Roe vs Wade situation she was pissed.
This Project 2025 shit would have probably killed her if the cancer had not. I think her blood pressure would have her stroked out. She was a world class worrier and she was one that would be burning bridges before we even got to them. The stuff in Project 2025 would have her blood boiling and have her worried beyond belief. I will be honest it has my blood boiling and has me greatly concerned.
On Facebook someone posted a meme that said “ Project 2025 is a lot easier to understand in its original German”. While that is humorous, it is also extremely concerning. The shit contained in this bullshit plan is very much like Nazi rhetoric and theory.
A teacher posted a interesting observation. According to her the students that read the book “The Diary of Anne Frank” would ask her how could that happen, how could the German people allow that to happen. Well the shit in Project 2025 is goose stepping right down that road.
If you are one that believes old Cheetolini statements that he does not know anything about this, and doesn’t support it, then I have some Nevada Ocean front property you may be interested in.
Half the authors have been or will be parts of his past or future administration if he is re-elected.
All I can say is open your eyes and educate yourself on what these nut jobs are proposing. Will they get it all if they do indeed win the election? The answer is probably no, no administration ever gets everything they want, but if they get any of it, our democracy is over.
November is a long way off in political time, but it will be here before we know it. Before you go to that ballot box in November I hope you look in the mirror and ask yourself are you going to be on the side that tried to prevent us from losing our democracy and our freedoms or are you going to buy in to the Orange Messiah and his orange minions bullshit and piss it all away to a group of nut jobs.
In 2024 the choice is yours it may not be yours in 2028 if Project 2025 gets implemented.
Well enough of my soap box today. If I offended anyone, I really don’t give a shit, I just cannot not sit and be silent on this topic I needed to get it off my chest and am very happy that Jennifer is not here for this political circus we find ourselves in. She would have hated this more than any words I can say.
I haven't looked into Project 2025, I just know it can't be good if the Orange/Red party is behind it.

Amen is all I can say to your comments. The Project 2025 is downright frightening and so against democracy. Ahhh!! This upcoming election is so important and I hope people will choose a democracy over a dictatorship.

Of course, some will say that Project 2025 couldn’t happen but no one ever thought a defeated sitting President would encourage an armed insurrection to try to hold on to power. The convicted felon presidential candidate is a huge fan of Viktor Orban and look what Orban has done in Hungary. This coupled with the Supreme Court’s immunity ruling fiasco, it could be a very bleak future indeed if the orange one is reelected.
