Yesterday was one of those days that kept me hopping from one activity to the next.
Started with Bocce, I did not help the team much this week (no Casino’s). My team lost all three matches. We just could not catch a break, but that is Bocce some days you roll well and get all the breaks and some days you can’t roll worth a damn.
After Bocce, Deb Parsley and I picked up a bunch of toys and coats toys donated by the Anthem Ward of the LDS church in Bunkerville for a upcoming Children’s Christmas party at the Beaver Dam AZ elementary and middle school. I took the coats over to the elementary school principal yesterday. We had around 55+ coats, so my car was pretty well loaded. We also have a mountain of toys from the church and recent car show that we will be taking over for the party on December 16.
I went right from Beaver Dam to catch up with a group of us that went bowling. I actually bowled pretty well for me, so that was a nice change of pace.
Then went right from there to Pickleball round robin event, I had agreed to fill in for the usual Tuesday hosts who were out of town, I was scrambling because I arrived just a few minutes early but got it done. I was hoping to make it to the local cancer support group meeting last evening but ended up not making it to that.
Anyway I was wore out when I finally got to take a moment to relax. I watched a baseball movie called “Twelve” on Amazon Prime. It’s a good family movie about a 12 year old baseball player. Kind of a hallmark type movie.
The other night I also watched a funny Irish movie called “Hard Times”. It is about 4 guys who high jacked a truck full of Viagra. I will not describe anymore, so I don’t ruin it for anyone who may want to watch it, but it is a pretty funny show (or at least I thought it was).
Today, I am going to go play left, center, right (LCR) and then have my weekly Rotary Club meeting. I have not played LCR in a long time so looking forward to that. Well I better get moving.
