Well my old cell phone finally bit the dust Thursday night. I was taking Mom to town to do some banking so after we finished that I went to the AT&T store and got a new phone. I spent a good portion of Friday night and some of Saturday morning getting it set up.
Then I worked on getting some of the front room put back together since the painter has finished in there. I got the three China cabinets in that room back in their spots and washed all the glass in them. I also got the couch moved back to its spot and a couple of small tables and lamps hauled back from my grandpa’s house
Then I went to town to the Montana Irish Music Festival. Both Lydia and Teddy do Irish dance. They both did a great job and were so cute. Lydia really did good. Unfortunately the weather dampened the festival, but fortunately not during the kids sets. So that was good. There was some pretty good lightning and rain on my drive home. Our rain gauge said we got a 1/2 inch of rain.
Cindy, Chad and the boys came over this morning and we worked on getting the rest of the front room put back together. We put all the blinds back up and washed and dryed all the crystal and knick knacks that Mom has in the 3 cabinets and got them back in their respective cabinets.
Mom and Dad are getting a new refrigerator and the timing worked out good, the old one that we had in the milkhouse crapped out, so Chad and I hauled it out today. So the one from the kitchen will go in its place in the milk house. The new one is supposed to be delivered on Saturday and they will take the old milk house one. They just don’t make things like they used to the one in the milk house only lasted 40+ years.
The painter will hopefully finish the big room tomorrow and we can start putting it back together later this upcoming week.
Tomorrow I have to take Dad to the Dermatologist to get his stitches out from the procedure he had last week and then they have to do another procedure on one of his ears.
Tomorrow will probably be another rough day as it would have been Jennifer’s and my 35th wedding anniversary. Technically it is my second anniversary without her, but I will be honest I was still pretty much in shock for last years, because she had only been gone four days. Anyway, I will get through it, just like I have with everything else, but I will definitely be having memories of 35 years ago. It was quite a day.
Well enough for today.
