Had a busy morning getting ready for my flight back to Mesquite. It was tough saying goodbye to the folks, but it was time for me to get back her.
Colleen gave me a ride to Jeanne and Rob’s on her way to work this morning. We had coffee and a nice visit and then we went to breakfast at the Oasis. Then Jeanne and Rob drove me out to,the cemetery to say goodbye to Jennifer. Like I told Jeanne it is like a bad nightmare that I wish I could wake up from.
They dropped me at the airport and then I got checked in and through security. It is always a little tough on the taxi out to runway as we go past Jennifer’s grave and I happened to be sitting on that side of the plane. Thankfully the flights were uneventful and we actually departed Butte a few minutes early.
Dorothy and Andy had a appointment up in St. George so they were nice enough to wait for me to come in and pick me up. We had a nice visit and drive home.
Once I got home it sure was nice to see Jennifer’s photo I have in the hallway outside our Master Bedroom. I got my water service back into the house and then got the car running (hooked the battery back up) and then went and got some groceries. My cupboards were pretty bare.
I came home and made a turkey sandwich for dinner (I did not feel like cooking). Also got stuff plugged in around the house and got my TV’s up and running.
Tomorrow I will need to,do some housework but will first go play Bocce at 7:00 am. The house work will be there when I get home.
Anyway it feels good to be in my own home with our stuff and my own bed. Well I better hit the hay. So enough for today.
