Headstone Is Done

Well last night was fun. After Bocce we went bowling. We had the place to ourselves (thankfully). My bowling was atrocious. I was hot on the Bocce court, I was not on the bowling alley. I think I even sucked Dorothy and Andy into my vortex of shitty bowling. They probably won't invite me back (yes it was that bad).

Then we did something that Jennifer and I had talked about doing, but never pulled the trigger. We went and played Bingo at the Casino. Andy and I did the Electronic version and Dorothy stayed old school and did paper cards with a dauber. With the electronic version you can choose a large computer screen or a I-pad and then you just log in and sit and watch a screen. If you are getting close to a Bingo the computer notifies you and then if you have a Bingo it notifies you and you have to holler Bingo and raise your hand and then they come check your screen.

I even read the Bingo Bugler while we were waiting for the game to begin. The Bingo Bugler is the official news paper for the hard core Bingo players. It actually had some interesting little nuggets of useless knowledge in it and helped pass the 30 minutes from when we bought our cards and actually started playing.

There were 11 games, some were kind of complicated so I think the computer is the way to go. Dorothy said she would probably do the computer in the future. There was probably about 30 people there playing. One lady behind Andy and I won $2,000 bucks on one Bingo. There were a couple of people who had multiple bingos and then there was us. Zero Bingo's.

We got home about 12:15 am, so it was a late night, I remember the days when I was just getting warmed up at 12:15. Guess What? Not anymore. The last game was a blackout game and I will be honest I caught myself nodding off waiting for the numbers to be called. I did come close on that one. I was missing just one number, when the Bingo got called. I think I was out as soon as my head hit the pillow last night.

I got word today that our headstone is done. I am happy with how it turned out. It will hopefully be installed this week. So I get to see it while I am home.

I will be honest it is a little wierd to get to see it before I get laid below it but at least I know I got what I wanted and I sure hope she likes it. She will let me know when we meet again.

Well enough for today.
