I am happy today for many things.
My good friends Dale and Lori’s place in Naples, Florida was fortunately not impacted by Hurricane Milton. I was very happy that the many prayers I put forth were answered. I am hoping that Jennifer pulled a few strings in making that happen. I feel so sad for the many people who were not as fortunate.
I am so happy that they delayed there heading down there. They were supposed to go down earlier this week but changed those tarvel plans when it was clear Milton was heading their way. Fortunately Lori is the CEO of WGAS (We Give A Shit) travel, so I am sure she got it all taken care of. WGAS was always our choice when it came to travel plans.
I am happy that my Dad is going to get to go back home tomorrow and just pray that it all goes well when he gets home.
Today I played in a Corn Hole tournament at the Mesquite Lutheran Church. I played with my neighbor Dave. We did not win the tournament and finished in the middle of the pack. We had fun. I was pleasantly surprised how many people I knew at the tournament. A lot of my fellow Sun City Bocce players were in the Tournament. The main organizers of the tournament are also fellow Bocce club players.
The tournament was in the church parking lot and that pavement was getting pretty warm, but we finished before it got really brutal. I won $20 in a drawing, so that was exciting. I donated it back to the church after the tournament was over.
Yesterday was a crazy busy day. I started with Corn Hole practice lat 6:30 am, Bocce at 8:00 am, Golf at 1:40 pm and Pickleball at 7:00 pm. I was one tired puppy when I got home.
Hard to believe I could barely spell Corn Hole a month or so ago and now I am a seasoned Corn Hole tournament player. It will be quite a while before I can pursue a professional contract but I held my own in today’s tournament.
I have been scratching my head on whether Jennifer would have like playing Corn Hole. I go back and forth, but tending towards the probably not. I think she would have just gotten too nervous about screwing up or letting her partner down. However, I could be wrong she may have liked it and she would probably have been pretty good at it.
Well enough for today.
Joe. Glad to hear you have been expanding your athletic horizons. It’s wonderful that your dad is getting to go home. Hopefully he does really well.

We’re glad we delayed our travel too Joe! Just to clarify, I am the CEO of WGAST (Who Gives A Shit Travel). It was aptly named that when we were making arrangement to go to the British Isles! I believe I said if you don’t like the arrangements “who gives a shit”! And WGAST was born! 😂
