Great Start To The Day

The day started out great. Had a cup of Coffee and a Town Talk maple bar.

Town Talk maple bars were a favorite of Jennifer's. We never could find one that compared to them anywhere that we lived. Harmon's in St George has some decent ones but not like Town Talk's. Anyway, it was a nice way to start the day.

I ran to town and did a few errands this morning and then got home before the home health care nurse showed up for Dads weekly checkup. Again healthy as a horse. Unfortunately the nurse informed us that the Physical therapist that was coming to help dad quit and that today was his last day with the company. So we will have to wait to see how that is going to play out but probably won't have a physical therapist coming for a couple of weeks (especially with Christmas in the mix). So it looks like he is stuck with me being his main therapist again.

Yesterday in Montana was a crazy with a series of bomb threats to schools and Jewish synagogues around the state. We got a robocall from the Jefferson County Sheriff telling us about a bomb threat at the Boulder, MT elementary school and that the school's students had been evacuated to the high school and to stay away from the elementary school.

What concerns me is that the parties doing this are scouting and evaluating how these communities are or aren't responding. Responding to these events is going to put a strain on law enforcement and community resources. Montana does not have a large contingent of bomb squads/resources and the costs to respond is going to cause issues where they can barely make it as it is.

Crazy and scary stuff.

Well enough for today.
