Today marks the four year anniversary of what in my opinion is the darkest day in our country’s political history.
The January 6 uprising was orchestrated by the Orange messiah and his minions and was scary close to being successful. Ironically, today our country will confirm the treasonous bastard as our 47th President. Like Jennifer’s death I still cannot wrap my head around how the majority of Americans voted to put someone who attempted to overthrow our democracy back in office and feel that is a good thing. However, that is the reality and like Jennifer’s death I am just going to have to accept it.
We have put the orange fox back guarding the hen house and when he is done there won’t be a laying hen left in the coop. I just hope and pray that the next generations are better at choosing their political candidates (if there is anything left) than my and my parents generation. However, I fear that is a pipe dream. Like I have said many times and will continue to say, I am just thankful Jennifer is not here to witness this bullshit.
However the reality is what it is and I and everyone else will just have to live with it. I probably should just shut up, but I won’t.
It just keeps snowing here. I will be glad to get back to 60+ degree snow free weather. Below is a photo of what has accumulated the last three days and its still slowly coming down.

Busy day playing Uber driver. I need to take Dad in for a appointment this morning and then will bring him home and take my Mom in for aanappointment this afternoon. I will try and plow some snow in between appointments.
Well I better get a move on and face the day.
