Cemetery Day

Cindy and Case are coming over this morning so that we can work on getting the flower boxes for the family graves cleaned up and then take them to the cemetery’s. Chad and Heath are going to Missoula to help Chads Mom with some things around her house (getting her sprinkler turned on). They are concerned she may have some broken sprinkler pipe because a bus drove over part of her yard. Hopefully she doesn’t or if she does that it is minor.

We are a week early but the Galbavy’s are going camping next weekend. Cindy has been doing this for the family for years.

  1. Cindy also made a rebar Sheppards hook to put over Jennifer’s and my headstone. I am anxious to see the finished product. I saw it when she first bent it, but she was going to add some detail to it. Pat and Kate are working on the basket of flowers for Jennifer’s. I really appreciate them doing that and know it will be beautiful.

It looks like we are going to have a nice day for it. Yesterday was extremely windy, so it is a good thing we did not try to do it yesterday. I think it is still going to be breezy, but nothing like yesterday. We had some gusts that were easily in the 60-70 mph range.

We did loose power for just a few seconds, but we were lucky some folks in town lost it for several hours. Nothing like the poor folks in Houston, but it was still pretty unnerving.

My folks have a couple of bird feeders out their front window and the poor little birds were huddled underneath the feeders trying to keep from blowing away. When they would go to fly it was liking watching a rocket launch.

Well I better get moving, I am going to cook up some sausage, pancakes and eggs for breakfast. Cindy and Case should be here in about 30 minutes.
