The Grizzly game was a exciting game. I was thinking another Montana team was going to lose another 1 point heartbreaker. Then a fantastic punt return for a touchdown turned the game around. Then it got exciting, sitting on the edge of your seat football. The last 4 minutes of regulation was on the edge of your seat, finger nail chewing excitement. Then the overtime did not disappoint either. It was a entertaining defensive struggle. Both teams can hold their heads up high, they played a hell of a game.
If Jennifer was here she would have been like a cat on a hot tin roof, and to be honest she would have probably went in another room and waited to hear how the rest of us reacted for the final outcome. She just could not handle the anticipation. I don't know how many times she would do that but it was often. She would hang in there right until the big moment and then she would have to look away and plug her ears. It was one of her cute little quirks.
Today is going to be a busy day. I am going to run to town to go to a funeral for the mother of one of our old friends and classmates, then will run to the store for some groceries and then back out to the ranch. The Galbavy's are coming over today to hang outside Christmas lights and to also go the Elk Park Volunteer Fire Department Christmas party and hayride.
Hopefully the roads have improved, based on the speed of the traffic going by the house last night the roads must have been pretty icy, especially in the Southbound lanes. The snowplows were making regular rounds, but the traffic was moving slower than normal. We did have a Highway Patrol car pass with his emergency lights on heading South towards Butte. So must have been a accident somewhere south of us.
It is definitely feeling more like Christmas. We have some snow (just a little dusting yesterday) and cooler temps (5 degrees this morning). So I guess winter is here now. The Bozeman ski areas got some good snow and are open. So the skiers in that area are happy.
Well better get a move on and get ready to face the day.
Give Marcie a hug from me. Stay warm.
