This morning I have been puttering around the house doing a few odds and ends I don't know if I am really accomplishing much. Sometimes I think I take one step forward and two steps back in getting things done. However in doing these things I was realizing how much I took the many things Jennifer did in our marriage and to be honest I feel pretty ashamed of how much I just took it for granted. It also made me realize how amazing and talented she was. It just makes me miss her all that much more.

This morning I am going to a organization meeting for a March 16, 2023 Cancer walk here in Mesquite. I have volunteered to work at the event. Our Rotary Club also made a monetary donation to help support the walk. Several of the ladies organizing this event are Cancer survivors themselves or are currently battling the many forms of this horrific disease. Rotary will also have a information table at the event.

I am trying to get ready for several visits as well as getting ready to head back to Montana to help my folks and get ready for the challenges we are going to have this summer. Many of you know that we are going to be working to move my folks to accomidations that are better suited to their current conditions. This is a painful but necessary part of life. The folks just cannot continue to safely live at the ranch. It is hard for all of us to grasp the magnitude of change that will be occurring over the coming months, but the time has come.

Yesterday I went and played some Pickleball in the morning and then came home and did some more yard work. Well I lost track of time and then my watch alarm went off. It is set at 3:00 pm for no particular reason. Well when it went off, I realized that I missed Sunday Bocce. So I finished up and jumped in the golf cart and went up and watched the folks finishing up their games. Then I went over and putted for a few minutes.

I came home and cooked up a Lasagna toss that Jennifer used to make regularly. I am trying to eat down the food in my pantry and freezer in preparation for the upcoming departure. So will probably be having some eclectic meals in the coming days.

I had a good visit with Cindy on the phone last night, and can't tell you how much I appreciate all of the stuff she and Chad do for my folks. She also is very accomplished in her work life and got some grant money this past month for her Welding program at Helena High School. The kids that go through her program are sure blessed to have such a dedicated educator.

I am really looking forward to their upcoming visit and I will be hitching a ride with them back to Montana.

After our call, I decided to do some coloring. I put some tunes on and picked out a page and just started coloring.

Well I better get going and try to take three steps forward so I get something accomplished.
